A Brother Laid to Rest

On October 9, 2007 Buchanan Valley Fire Department's Firefighter/EMT Adam Cole was laid to rest. Adam died in the line of duty while responding to a mountain fire on October 4. Over 100 firefighters and emergency personnel from Pennsylvania, Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Virginia attended the funeral. A firefighter's farewell was given to Adam. An abundance of fire apparatus attended including Service 29 and Brush 29. Our prayers are continued for Adam's family and friends. Our prayers also continue for the members of the Buchanan Valley Fire Department.

Adam was killed on October 4th, 2007, in the LINE OF DUTY while responding to a mountain fire. He was a Firefighter/Emergency Medical Technician with BVFD.
