Around 5 p.m. on Thursday, April 14, 2022, Southeastern Adams Volunteer Emergency Services was requested to box 29-7 on the 400 block of Madison Street in Conewago Township to assist with setting up a landing zone for a medical helicopter to transport a trauma victim after a nearby shooting that took place in the intersection of Linden Avenue and Maple Avenue. Conewago Township Police and Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the shooting, and have not yet released further details.
