| Attention followers and area residents: PennDOT has scheduled repair work on the Rt. 116 bridge at the western edge of McSherrystown Borough at Conewage Township, near the Food Lion. Route 116 is scheduled to be completely closed beginning June 1st and throughout the month of June. Detour signs will be posted.
Access to SAVES from the northeast includes using Edgegrove Rd, Chapel Rd., and Centennial Rd. Access from the southeast includes using Route 194 and Racehorse Rd.
Additionally, residents should feel comfortable in the knowledge that SAVES is prepared for this closure with contingency plans in place to ensure fast, reliable fire service to all of our community during this time. |
