On Sunday, July 2 members of SAVES displayed Engine 29 and Service 29 along with Seargent Kitzmiller from McSherrystown Police Department with a Police Cruiser for a Touch-A-Truck Event for Life Discovery Chuch. Members of the church were able to see and climb in the apparatus as well as hold equipment. The children of the church had a blast sitting in Engine 29 while wearing their very own fire helmets given out by the members of SAVES. The kids were also estatic when there was a "Battle of the Badges" with lights and sirens. |
